The author leads us through this teaching in a simple down-to-earth manner. He describes the book as one little section of his teaching on 'eschatology' or 'the doctrine of the future'.

Originally the entire church was Jewish and then Gentiles were grafted into the movement and outnumbered the Jews so the 'Jewish' Church was no longer predominantly Jewish. That situation has remained till this day. But the people of Israel, the ones who laid the foundations of the Church, will yet again join.
